Edition Peters Group is looking for a New Music & Repertoire Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover) to join the New Music and Promotion team of this renowned, international music publishing house.

Your Position

In your role as New Music and Repertoire Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover) you will provide crucial support to the Director of New Music and Repertoire in coordinating the work of Promotion Team across the Edition Peters Group: ensuring a consistent, efficient approach to the many tasks required in managing the large and diverse rights catalogue of Edition Peters Group. Working with the Promotion, Communications, Business Affairs, Editorial and Rental teams, you will lead on the co-ordination of performance material, the ingestion of new products through the release note process by generating data and creating content, and supporting the management of composers and their promotion.

Your Tasks
  • Supporting the New Music & Repertoire promotion and rental team
  • Co-ordinating the supply of performance material for newly commissioned works and other works to commissioner, co-commissioners and performers including digital delivery in liaison with Editorial/Rental/Sales
  • Managing the information on the Comms Planner for New Music and Repertoire Premieres and Significant performances, events and significant dates
  • Leading on the Integration of Works data including new commissioned work through release note process
  • Issues arising from email inbox
  • Copy writing and translating (release notes, social media posts) – Editing programme notes for release copy in German and English
  • Preparation and management of monthly New Music and Repertoire Promotion meetings and weekly New Music Editorial meetings
  • Ensuring biographies, photographs and worklists for composers are kept up to date
  • Perusals and programming suggestions of new works to contacts following promotion meetings
  • Reacting to incoming queries from composers, performers and artistic administrators including info about works, repertoire ideas, biography and image requests etc
  • Attending concerts and events as an ambassador for Peters and building up contacts
  • Sourcing recordings for promotional purposes and maintain sound files
  • Using InDesign to create brochures

Your Profile
  • Demonstrable organisational and communication skills
  • A degree in music and good knowledge of and enthusiasm for contemporary classical music
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office essential; Adobe InDesign and Acrobat desirable)
  • Consistent high level of customer care and responsiveness.
  • Good Time Management, data management and able to prioritise workload.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Copy writing skills
  • Fluency in English and German
