Wedding Songs (Kazu dziesmas)

Romualds Kalsons was born in Latvia in 1936. This 16-minute suite of six movements for orchestra comprising triple wind and brass, percussion, harp and strings is distinctly folk-flavoured and could almost be considered a Latvian equivalent of Copland’s Rodeo.
