At this unprecedentedly difficult and worrying time for anyone involved in professional live music making, Edition Peters offers this selection from its full rental catalogue of works for smaller orchestral or ensemble forces. In normal times, and as the original publishers of Beethoven’s First Symphony, Mahler’s Fifth Symphony and Schoenberg’s Five Orchestral Pieces, Edition Peters has a huge catalogue of performance material to explore including a vast and expanding library of great music from our own time.

The catalogue does not try comprehensively to list the extensive contemporary music we represent, though our composer brochures and perusal scores for any work in our catalogue can easily be made available. Rather we suggest some interesting works that may fit with some of the practical considerations you are presently, and temporarily, dealing with. There are many gems here that deserve to be better known in any case, together with arrangements for reduced forces of some great classics.
