Elliot Sharp is a key figure int the avant-garde and experimental music scence in New York His compositions have been performed by many Ensembles like "Ensemble Modern";"SEM Ensemble"; Kronos Quartet etc. In 2003 he was awarded a grant from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grants to Artists Award.
