Dr Christophe Grabowski has recently completed a research post at Royal Holloway, University of London. The world’s foremost expert on Chopin’s first editions and related sources, he has held major fellowships funded by The Leverhulme Trust, the Arts and Humanities Research Council, and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. His work has resulted in a fundamentally new understanding of the Chopin sources, particularly the French first editions. Dr Grabowski has acted as Editorial Consultant for The Complete Chopin – A New Critical Edition. His Annotated Catalogue of Chopin's First Editions (co-authored with John Rink) will be published by Cambridge University Press in January 2010.
